About Me
The name is April, 22. I grew up in Hillsboro, OR, but recently moved to Honolulu, Hawaii for school. I am a Meteorology major at The University of Hawaii, and a music/communications minor. I love to capture the moments that are greatest in my heart, however that may be. I feel that life is a precious thing, and one would be a fool to not use it that best he could. So I try to live each day as if it were my last, but plan for tomorrow.
Here, There, and Everywhere...
“He may not be born of this land.
But he was born of this world.
He was born of all the mothers
And the colors of our brothers
And the love that was started
-Portugal the Man”
But he was born of this world.
He was born of all the mothers
And the colors of our brothers
And the love that was started
-Portugal the Man”
There are so many things I wish I could say
So many things I dream of going my way
Some times forward is the struggle in its own
Some times the past is my only true known
People kill to walk a day in my shoes
But careful cause a dream can be a loose
For my roots hold a tale deep in itself
One that shall remain forever shelfed
The grass is not always greener on my side
Infact it is a truth I can fully confide
One look in these eyes and you will see
I am not what everyone makes me to be
